From Kick-Off to Final Whistle: Motion That Scores
PKO Ekstraklasa is the top-tier Polish football league, followed by millions of fans across the country. For selected special events, I was responsible for creating animated content that captured attention and drove engagement on social media. One of the animations I led became the third most-watched video on PKO Ekstraklasa’s channels during the season.


Playing the Game Through Motion
I was the motion design lead for the project, working directly with the Head of Social Media at PKO Ekstraklasa to deliver animations that met both creative and strategic goals. My work required balancing bold creative ideas with the fast-paced nature of sports content. Every animation had to not only stand out visually but also resonate with fans in the emotional context of live football and special events.
Creativity under pressure
The main challenge was delivering top-quality animations under tight deadlines, often linked to live events or seasonal highlights. I had to ensure that each piece of content felt unique and memorable while still aligning with PKO Ekstraklasa’s brand identity. Another challenge was maximizing engagement in a competitive social media landscape where football fans expect instant, high-energy content.
Impact that speaks in numbers
This project was about more than just creating a few animations. It was about designing moments that fans would actually remember. Working side by side with the league’s Head of Social Media, I led the motion design process and pushed for concepts that felt fresh, bold, and in sync with the energy of Polish football. The animations were tied to special events during the season, which meant they needed to feel celebratory but also authentic to the community that follows PKO Ekstraklasa every week. The result was a set of motion pieces that not only stood out creatively but also achieved real impact one of them became the third most-watched post on the league’s social channels that season.
