Turning Complex Science Into Human-Centered Design
Senseas is an innovative software platform designed to transform the way young children are diagnosed with neurological and developmental disorders. By combining multimedia techniques with advanced psychophysiological measurements like eye tracking and EDA/GSR, the system delivers a holistic and accurate diagnostic approach that goes far beyond traditional methods. My role in this project was to design the entire user experience from the ground up, including wireframes, a design system, UI/UX design, concept design, and user flows.


At the Core of Senseas
Working on Senseas was both challenging and inspiring. This system is the first of its kind worldwide, integrating science, healthcare, and technology into one intuitive software platform. The project’s goal was not only to create a robust diagnostic tool but also to ensure it was accessible, intuitive, and easy to use for both clinicians and researchers.
I had the creative freedom to:
Build a scalable design system that could grow alongside the product.
Translate complex medical data into clear, actionable insights.
Create user flows that made navigating the platform simple, despite the advanced technology working behind the scenes.
Ensure the design language balanced innovation and trustworthiness, critical for medical software aimed at sensitive pediatric diagnoses.
The client was enthusiastic about how science-driven visuals and clean usability came together, resulting in a platform that looked modern yet professional.
Designing Clarity for Medical Innovation
Designing for medical innovation always comes with unique challenges. For Senseas, I faced:
Complex medical technology: Translating psychophysiological data such as EDA/GSR and eye tracking into clear, visual formats without overwhelming the user.
Multiple user groups: The platform needed to be intuitive for doctors, researchers, and therapists, all with different priorities and workflows.
High fidelity of screens: With many advanced modules, I had to create a large number of design screens in a relatively short timeframe.
Consistency across the system: Building a cohesive design system that worked for both multimedia techniques and clinical session management.
Custom concept work: From user flows to detailed UI screens, everything had to be concepted and tested from scratch.
Each challenge pushed me to be more creative, to combine scientific accuracy with usability, and to deliver a product that felt both innovative and trustworthy.
